Yes. They are called "secured" credit cards and you need to deposit money at the bank that issues them.

As long as you are 18 you should be able to get a credit card in your name. Capital One Student Credit Card (link in source section) is the easiest to get. Having a checking and savings should be opened before applying though. Once you receive the card, make a small charge - gas or something. When the statement comes in - pay it in full - this will force the account to be reported to the credit bureau. Capital One reports to all three. After 3 months you should then be eligible for a regular credit card at your bank.

Living beyond my means? This is about honoring an opt out and ethical business practices. And what does his wage have to do with anything. He said he was a supervisor and was the person assigned by Chase to speak to me. So I have more of right to "Bust His Chops" if he is paid more? That's more ridiculous than the random part.

This recording may be real may not be. Regardless, instances just like this are happening by the boat loads. You think the number here on youtube are large, ha... Take a look at this site, and these are just those reporting. Imagine the numbers that just cry in shame and never tell a person.

Stop paying them at all tell them sue you. They pissed me off and i quit sending any payment. I deflated when they jacked me from 11.99 to 29.99 so i deflated. let them charge it off as loss.
